Day 01 :

Arrive in Bhuj & City Heritage

Arrive in Bhuj by flight, train or road and settle in. Spend the afternoon exploring the city’s heritage — the Aina Mahal (Palace of Mirrors),
Prag Mahal and the Smriti Van memorial. Wander the colourful local bazaars for Bandhani textiles and Kutchi silverwork. An easy first day after travel.

Day 02 :

The White Rann & Tent City

Today is the highlight. Drive to Dhordo (about 1.5 hours) and head out to the White Rann for sunset over the endless salt desert.
In the evening, enjoy the cultural programme of folk music and dance at the tent city. If you are visiting during festival season, an overnight tent stay makes this truly special — see our Tent City page.

Day 03 :

Craft Villages & Kala Dungar

Explore the artisan villages that make Kutch famous. Visit Nirona for Rogan art and copper bell-making, Hodka for leatherwork and embroidery, and Bhuj for handloom weaving. In the afternoon, drive up to Kala Dungar (Black Hill), the highest point in Kutch, for sweeping panoramic views over the white desert.

Day 04 :

Mandvi Beach & Vijay Vilas Palace

Head south to Mandvi (about 1.5 hours from Bhuj) for a complete change of scenery.
Relax on the clean sandy beach, watch traditional wooden dhow ship building at the centuries-old yard,
and visit the elegant Vijay Vilas Palace set among gardens near the shore. A relaxed, enjoyable day for all ages.

Day 05 :

Dholavira & Departure

On your final day, visit Dholavira a remarkably preserved Indus Valley Civilisation city and UNESCO World Heritage Site,reached via the scenic Road to Heaven that runs straight across the white desert. Note that Dholavira is a longer drive from Bhuj,so an early start is essential. If you prefer a relaxed final day, swap it for local sightseeing and shopping before departure.
